Do you have the surgical know-how but lack the confidence to attempt wisdom tooth surgery
without clinical supervision?
Do you want to remove wisdom teeth in live patients, in surgery under the supervision of oral
maxillofacial surgeons?
Then this is the course for you. AHC presents the bootcamp of all wisdom tooth courses.
Wisdom Teeth Hands on Essentials Level 1 and Wisdom teeth Hands on Advanced Level 2.
A two day intensive workshop designed to teach you both the theory and hands on components of safe extraction of wisdom teeth. This course is delivered by oral and maxillofacial surgeons who are trained to not just teach you how to safely and effectively remove wisdom teeth in your patients but to also instil in you an understanding of your limitations.
Attendees of Level 1 (July 22nd 2023) will be taken through a morning of intense theory before completing an afternoon of hands on practise on specially made wisdom tooth models. Level 1 training is designed to teach you the theory of safe wisdom tooth extraction as well as introduce the necessary clinical skills by way of model training.

Attendees of Level 2 (July 23rd 2023) will have a day of guided live patient surgery. In the morning, these students will assess all the patient imaging with the surgeons to plan out their surgeries. The students will then be split into three groups of three. The three per group will cycle through the roles of clinician, assistant and observer. By the end of the day, each attendee would have removed four wisdom teeth (two mandibular and two maxillary) of various levels of difficulty, assisted for the removal of four and observed another four. Each of the three clinical bays will have a dedicated oral maxillofacial surgeon supervising the entirety of the surgeries to ensure not just patient safety but the maximum amount of clinical training.
Finer Details
- Level 2 attendees must have completed level 1 training before progressing to level 2.
- You can complete level 1 training first and then attend any of the level 2 live surgery days scheduled throughout the year in any state.
- Wisdom Teeth Hands on Advanced Level 2 spots are limited to 9 attendees per day only. If you would like do both courses back to back, please purchase the bundle.

Bank Transfer Payment
Payment via bank transfer must be made immediately upon registering. Funds must be cleared within two days of invoice date. Registration will automatically be removed if funds are not cleared within this timeframe.
Sickness
In case of sickness which the attendee is unable to attend the course, AHC Dental Ed is be happy to transfer the funds to another course within 12 months, however a doctors certificate must be provided.
